Softball Recap: Demopolis Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lawrence County, Demopolis was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Fort Payne Wildcats. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Demopolis' win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Fort Payne, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Demopolis has already played their next matchup, an 8-4 defeat against Tuscaloosa County on the 22nd. Fort Payne has also already played their next contest (against Guntersville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
