Harrison posted their closest win since April 28, 2025 on Friday. They won by a set and slipped past the Lyndhurst Golden Bears 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Tide, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Harrison had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-20, 25-21.

Their offense was headlined by Ryan Manini and Jonathan Petrillo, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Gabriel Da Costa and his 16 assists.

The victory made it two in a row for Harrison and bumps their season record up to 6-2. As for Lyndhurst, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Harrison will face off against Elmwood Park at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lyndhurst, they will head out on the road to take on Garfield at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
