Football Recap: Nandua Beats West Point for Their Second Straight Victory

West Point came into Friday's game looking for another win against Nandua, but Elijah Parker wouldn't allow it. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 20-0 margin over the Pointers on Friday thanks in part to Parker, who picked up 116 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 101 yards and one score on only ten carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making 13 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Juelz Snead also helped out as he racked up 129 rushing yards. Nandua is undefeated when Snead posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-5 otherwise.

The win made it two in a row for Nandua and bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 20 points in those games. As for West Point, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Nandua will challenge Northampton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Point, they will square off against Charles City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
