Western Illinois Valley - North recap Oct. 30, 2012

Central/Southeastern extended the longest winning streak in Western Illinois Valley - North this week by beating Argenta-Oreana, 40-29. This was the team's 10th consecutive win.

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia took down Mt. Olive 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Tanner Huddleston threw for 30 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 26 yards in the win.

Central/Southeastern's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Seth Leezer threw for 39 and two touchdowns and Dalton Heubner had 39 yards receiving. On the ground Heubner chipped in 168 yards.

6-foot-1 quarterback Huddleston of the Trojans is the league leader in passing yards this season with 659. He has also thrown 10 touchdowns. On the ground, the Panthers' Heubner has rushed for 1349 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Alex Blickhan. The Unity/Seymour star has 17 catches for 202 yards.

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia led the league in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on the Wildcats. Huddleston in the win.
