Softball Recap: St. Henry Redskins vs. Minster Wildcats
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jay County, St. Henry was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Minster Wildcats by a score of 7-4. This was payback for the Redskins, who suffered a 10-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Renee Wendel looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Kennedy Wendel was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Olivia Gast was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
St. Henry's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Minster, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2.
Coming up, St. Henry will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Bath at 5:30 p.m. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.88 runs per game on average), something the Redskins will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Minster, they are taking a road trip to square off against Fort Loramie at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
