Volleyball Recap: Fort Scott Takes a Loss

Fort Scott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chanute Blue Comets. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Blue Comets this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-14.

Fort Scott's defeat dropped their record down to 3-25. As for Chanute, their victory was their 15th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 27-1.

Fort Scott didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Field Kindley on the 7th. As for Chanute, they will host Pittsburg on Monday.
