Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sahuarita). They claimed a resounding 92-61 victory over the Amphitheater Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 77-68 two weeks ago.

Sahuarita's win on Wednesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zack Myhre, who dropped a double-double on 42 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Myhre a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Durazo, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 assists.

Sahuarita's win ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 10-13. As for Amphitheater, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Sahuarita will be playing in front of their home fans against Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Amphitheater, they will head out on the road to face off against Cholla at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Cholla has five straight victories, Amphitheater has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
