Daniel waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Berea Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win. The Lions not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Daniel was: they took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-8, 25-4.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Daniel to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kelsey Gosnell, who had four aces. That's the most aces Gosnell has posted since back in August of 2024. Michaela Reed also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Daniel was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Daniel's record now sits at 22-7. As for Berea, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Daniel will square off against rival Travelers Rest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Berea is set to challenge their familiar foe Seneca at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
