Basketball Recap: Stearns Comes Up Short

Stearns was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 62-53 to the Bangor Christian Patriots. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Minutemen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-47 back in December of 2024.

Stearns' defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Bangor Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Greenville the next time they take the court. Bangor Christian will host Greenville at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Stearns will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
