Volleyball Recap: Pius XI Catholic Comes Up Short

Pius XI Catholic lost against Wauwatosa West back in August of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Popes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Popes.

Despite the loss, Pius XI Catholic still got an impressive performance from Zoey Bucio, who had 11 digs.

Pius XI Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Wauwatosa West, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Looking ahead, Pius XI Catholic will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Greendale at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wauwatosa West, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Appleton West on the 30th.
