Softball Recap: Somerville Takes a Loss

Somerville couldn't beat Lynn Classical on Monday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fourth inning. The Highlanders came up short against the Rams, falling 24-9. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 back in April.

This is the second loss in a row for Somerville and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for Lynn Classical, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Somerville will host Rockport at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lynn Classical, they will face off against Malden at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
