Volleyball Recap: Lone Peak Wins Going Away Against American Fork

Lone Peak barely beat American Fork the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cavemen on Tuesday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Cavemen recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

While Lone Peak might've won, it sure wasn't easy: American Fork scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-18.

Trevor Allen paced Lone Peak's offense, picking up nine kills. Allen got some help from William Dayton and his 25 assists. Brady Holt controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lone Peak's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for American Fork, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Lone Peak wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Pleasant Grove on the 24th. As for American Fork, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Skyridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
