Volleyball Recap: Rickover Naval Takes a Loss

Rickover Naval was the 2-0 winner over Schurz when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Seadragons fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Rickover Naval sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 24-26, 25-23.

Rickover Naval's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2. As for Schurz, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rickover Naval will challenge rival Chicago Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Schurz is set to face off against their familiar foe Roosevelt at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
