Volleyball Game Preview: St. Stephens Indians vs. McDowell Titans

The St. Stephens Indians will square off against the McDowell Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Stephens will be strutting in after a win while McDowell will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, St. Stephens turned things around against Freedom on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Indians not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 18th (when they won 3-0).

St. Stephens was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-8.

Meanwhile, McDowell came up short against Alexander Central on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 23-25, 25-11.

St. Stephens' win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for McDowell, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
