Recap: Patrick Henry Patriots vs. Roosevelt Teddies

The Patrick Henry Patriots won against the Roosevelt Teddies on Wednesday with 70 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. Patrick Henry had just enough and edged Roosevelt out 70-68. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Roosevelt lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Avery Wells, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. Wells hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. Steven Hunter was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Patrick Henry's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Roosevelt, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patrick Henry's road trip will continue as they head out to face Como Park at 12:15 p.m. on January 20th. As for Roosevelt, they will face off against Minneapolis Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
