Basketball Recap: Waterloo Takes a Loss

Waterloo saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Cornerstone Christian Patriots 80-37. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 820th, while the Patriots are ranked 180th).

Waterloo has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season. As for Cornerstone Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Waterloo nor Cornerstone Christian have any future games scheduled.
