It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pierce County had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Westside Seminoles a 7-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Pierce County, who have now won eight contests by four goals or more so far this season.

The win (which was Pierce County's third in a row) raised their record to 10-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Westside, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

As of now, neither Pierce County nor the Seminoles have any future games scheduled.
