Baseball Recap: Amber-Pocasset Drops Season-High Score on Verden

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Amber-Pocasset). Everything went their way against the Verden Tigers on Thursday as Amber-Pocasset made off with an 11-1 win. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Amber-Pocasset pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Verden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.

Amber-Pocasset wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Canute on the 28th. As for Verden, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-4 win against Atoka on the 27th.
