Football Recap: Clarkson/Leigh Falls to Exeter-Milligan/Friend in First Game of Season

Clarkson/Leigh kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Exeter-Milligan/Friend Bobcats, falling 32-6. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 50-20 to the Bobcats when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wyatt Crosley threw for 68 yards and one touchdown on only six passes. Easton Brabec was his top target, picking up 50 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Jeryn Struebing rushed for 43 yards.

Clarkson/Leigh is taking a road trip to face off against Howells-Dodge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Exeter-Milligan/Friend, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Johnson-Brock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
