Basketball Game Preview: Lake County Falcons vs. Gleason Bulldogs

Lake County and Gleason are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Lake County Falcons will venture away from home to take on the Gleason Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Gleason likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Lake County humbled Dresden with a 67-36 victory. That looming 67-36 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Falcons yet this season.

Meanwhile, Gleason suffered their biggest defeat since November 23, 2024 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 78-48 loss at the hands of Union City. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake County's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Gleason, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Lake County couldn't quite finish off Gleason in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 and fell 69-67. Can Lake County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
