Wakulla hadn't done well against North Florida Christian recently (they were 1-7-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The War Eagles had just enough and edged out the Eagles 2-0. This was a revenge game for the War Eagles: when they faced off against the Eagles back in March, they had to take a 6-5 defeat.

Brody Beam looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Wakulla saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jose Reyes, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Reyes has hit this season. Sam Bruce was another, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Wakulla's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for North Florida Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Wakulla didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 9-1 loss against Marianna on the 9th. As for North Florida Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Suwannee on the 9th.
