Football Recap: Hendersonville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 48 points the game before, Hendersonville was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a 17-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Portland Panthers. The game marked the Commandos' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Isaac Hoke had an outrageously good game for Portland as he rushed for 87 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Hendersonville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Portland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hendersonville will host Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Commandos are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Portland, they will be playing at home against Hunters Lane at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
