Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask United). Everything went their way against the Southern Indians on Monday as they made off with a 16-0 win. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Kadin Schonauer made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Cavan Jackson was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Quentin Taylor, who went 3-for-4 with five stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

United always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .634. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

United pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Southern, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: United beat the Indians by a score of 13-0 on Thursday.
