Diego Villarreal posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
