Volleyball Recap: Durham Makes It Nine in a Row at Home + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Durham walked away with it. They blew past the Trinity Wolves 3-0 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Durham's got stronger as the match went on, holding Trinity to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-17, 25-7.

Josie Landon paced Durham's offense, picking up 14 kills. Landon got some help from Clare Osbon and her 27 assists. Lily Larrabee controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Durham's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 29-5. As for Trinity, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-13.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Durham and Hamilton will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
