While Holy Cross's win against Southern wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 50-47 victory over the Trojans on Thursday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Holy Cross' victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Southern, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
