Volleyball Recap: Odessa Comes Up Short

Odessa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the San Angelo Central Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 3rd.

While Odessa had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-27, 25-21, 25-23.

Odessa's defeat dropped their record down to 16-21. As for San Angelo Central, they moved to 16-14 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Odessa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Frenship on the 24th. As for San Angelo Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Midland on the 24th.
