The Marathon Dolphins will square off against the Ransom Everglades Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Marathon's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Riviera Prep 23-0. Winning may never get old, but the Dolphins sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Leo Mendez was incredible, going 1-for-2 with five RBI, one triple, and one run. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Jason Stubblefield Jr. was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Marathon was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .636. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .423 or higher in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Ransom Everglades got the win against Downtown Doral on Wednesday by a conclusive 14-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.
Ransom Everglades got a massive performance out of Justin Kaplan, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, four stolen bases, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Martin, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Marathon pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ransom Everglades, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Marathon hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .361. However, it's not like Ransom Everglades struggles in that department as they've averaged .376. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
