            The Evanston Wildkits are taking a road trip to  challenge the Buffalo Grove Bison  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Evanston is coming into the  match on  a  four-game losing streak.
On Thursday, Evanston came up short against Glenbrook North  and fell  8-3.
 Evanston saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Delila Liston, who  went 1-for-3 with one  triple and one  run.  Olivia Stanczak also deserves some recognition as  she  brought in her first  RBI of the season.
 Palatine hit Buffalo Grove with a four-run fourth inning  on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bison lost  11-2 to the Pirates. Bison fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Pirates since  on Thursday.
 Buffalo Grove's defeat was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Evanston, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging  on Saturday. Evanston hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season,  having  averaged 0.4  home runs per game. However, it's not like Buffalo Grove struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 0.4  home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
 Evanston was able to grind out a solid  win over Buffalo Grove in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024, winning  13-10. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildkits since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
