Baseball Recap: Dos Palos Comes Up Short

Dos Palos lost against Sierra back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Broncos took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chieftains. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tevin Clay was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. He has become a key player for Dos Palos: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 4-8 otherwise.

Dos Palos' defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Sierra, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.

Dos Palos has already played their next game, a 5-5 tie against Madera South on the 15th. As for Sierra, they will head out to challenge Torres at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
