Baseball Recap: Waterloo West Takes a Loss

Waterloo West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Iowa City Little Hawks. If the Wahawks were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to the Little Hawks when the teams met back in June of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Waterloo West's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Iowa City, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Little Hawks beat Waterloo West by a score of 8-0 later that day.
