Decatur is a perfect 10-0 against Washington since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Seahawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Decatur's favor as the squad sits on 12 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Washington has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Last Wednesday, Decatur made easy work of Easton and carried off a 14-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Seahawks, who have now won six games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Washington lost 12-2 to Parkside on Thursday.

Washington saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dawson Daniels, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Decatur, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Decatur took their victory against Washington in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 13-3 score. Will the Seahawks repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
