Softball Recap: Plumas Charter Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Plumas Charter had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 16-3 margin over the Weed Cougars on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Cougars two weeks ago, they had to take a 6-3 defeat.

The team relied heavily on Amaiya Beatty, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Jaycee Pew, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
