Wilson fell victim to South Florence and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 11-0 to the Bruins. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Everything went their way against Crestwood on Friday as Darlington made off with a 15-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won seven in a row.

Jaylee Carter was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Carly Gainey was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

Darlington always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .640. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Crestwood only posted an OBP of .231.

Darlington now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Wilson, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Wilson came out on top in a nail-biter against Darlington when the teams last played back in April of 2022, sneaking past 7-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wilson since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
