Basketball Game Preview: Concordia Prep Saints vs. Gerstell Academy

The Concordia Prep Saints will head out on the road to square off against Gerstell Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

On Wednesday, Concordia Prep didn't have quite enough to beat St. Paul's and fell 49-46. The Saints have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Gerstell Academy had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 52-51 victory over St. John's Catholic Prep.

Gerstell Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Concordia Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Concordia Prep came up short against Gerstell Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 63-54. Can Concordia Prep avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
