Volleyball Recap: Shiloh Comes Up Short

Shiloh had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Generals of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2015.

Despite the defeat, Shiloh saw an underclassman step up: freshman Temperance Johnson had 20 assists.

Prince Avenue Christian found their leader in sophomore Brenna Smith, who had four digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Smith.

The victory made it two in a row for Prince Avenue Christian and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Shiloh has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Eastside on the 7th. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Gainesville on the 9th.
