Volleyball Recap: Timber Lake Comes Up Short

Timber Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Tuesday.

Timber Lake was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Mobridge-Pollock work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15, 26-24.

Timber Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Mobridge-Pollock, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Timber Lake will challenge Dupree at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mobridge-Pollock, they will take on Stanley County at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
