Softball Recap: Quitman Wolverines vs. Minden Crimson Tide
While Quitman put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Minden. Everything went the Quitman Wolverines' way against the Minden Crimson Tide as the Quitman Wolverines made off with an 11-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Crimson Tide: they've now won five in a row.
Brenna Lamkin made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Lamkin was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Anna Leach, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-2. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
