Baseball Recap: Rosemont Wolverines vs. Argonaut Mustangs
Rosemont extended their losing streak to 12 on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 7-17-1 in the process. They came up short against the Argonaut Mustangs, falling 10-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on Tuesday.
Rosemont saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Terry, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Another was Kylan English, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.
As for Argonaut, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games.
On Argonaut's side, Brayden Dewald made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
