Basketball Recap: Triangle Math & Science Comes Up Short

The matchup between Triangle Math & Science and Southern Wake Academy on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Triangle Math & Science Tigers were dealt a 95-13 defeat at the hands of the Southern Wake Academy Lions. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Ira Wilson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Southern Wake Academy, dropping a triple-double on 14 points, 11 boards, and ten assists. William Knight was another key player, going 7 of 9 on his way to 15 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Triangle Math & Science dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Southern Wake Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1.

Southern Wake Academy and Clover Garden School will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Clover Garden School is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.2 points per game this season.
