Centralia gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Mexico Bulldogs by a score of 26-14. The Panthers' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Although Mexico took the loss, they still got scores from Ayden Geers and Charlie Fisher.

Coming up, Centralia will head out to face off against Hallsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mexico, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Southern Boone at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
