Bay Ridge Prep put another one in the bag  on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Staten Island Academy Tigers with a sharp  10-1 win. Fans of Bay Ridge Prep have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+  runs.
 Claire Giardina was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (and only one walk). Giardina was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4. She has been hot for a while, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last 11 times she's  played.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Selina Psarras, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run.  Josie Ruck was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Bay Ridge Prep was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .316 or higher in five consecutive  matches  dating back to last season.
Bay Ridge Prep pushed their record up to 3-0 with the  victory, which was their seventh straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Staten Island Academy, their  defeat was their first of the  season and  makes their record 2-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bay Ridge Prep will square off against York Prep at 3:45  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Staten Island Academy, they will challenge Portledge at 4:00  p.m.  on  the 22nd.
