Soccer Recap: Fluvanna County Takes a Loss

Fluvanna County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to the Orange County Fighting Hornets. While losing is never fun, Fluvanna County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 225th, while Orange County are ranked 62nd).

Fluvanna County's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Orange County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-3-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Fluvanna County and Orange County will both be playing Goochland the next time they take the pitch. The Fighting Hornets will host the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Flying Flucos will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
