Plainview is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Madison by a score of 70-62 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won three in a row.

Kohen Lingenfelter was a one-man wrecking crew as he went 5-for-7 on his way to 20 points and six rebounds. What's more, he also posted a 71% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January. Another player making a difference was Gage Walton, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards.
Meanwhile, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Ponca 72-33. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Plainview will need to focus on slowing down Parker Hoeppner, one of several Laurel-Concord-Coleridge players who made an impact when they last played. He posted seven points. Ian Sohler also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steals of the season.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Plainview, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Plainview has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 25.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Laurel-Concord-Coleridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 35 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
