After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gibson Southern, Tell City was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Henryville Hornets. The Marksmen haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Elaina Embry paced Tell City's offense, picking up eight kills. Embry got some help from Aubrey Harth and her 11 assists. Harth was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Tell City's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Henryville, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-2.

Tell City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Southridge on the 30th. As for Henryville, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Perry Central on the 30th.
