While Coeur d'Alene put up plenty of  runs on Saturday, the same  can't be said for Lakeland. The Vikings were the clear victors by  a  13-0 margin over the Hawks. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six  runs or more this season.
 Leah Nordman was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and three  runs.
 In other batting news,  Abbey Linder and  Ellie Henderson did most of the damage at the plate:  Linder  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double, while  Henderson  went 3-for-4 with three  runs and two  RBI. That's the most  runs  Henderson has posted since back in April of 2024.  Jenna Davenport was another key player,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  runs.
 Coeur d'Alene  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lakeland only posted  an  OBP of  .167.
The  win made it two in a row for Coeur d'Alene and  bumps their season record up to 15-2. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0  runs in those games. As for Lakeland, they dropped their record down to 6-13 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  at home.
Coeur d'Alene will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hawks: the pair will be back at it again later today.
