Bloomfield came out on top against Honeoye Falls-Lima  on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fourth inning. The Bombers walked away with  a   6-1  win over the Cougars. Winning may never get old, but the Bombers sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
 Ashlyn Wright spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in six consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Sydney Falsone, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  home run. Another player making a difference was  Calla McCombs, who  went 2-for-4 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  double.
Bloomfield pushed their record up to 14-1 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  on the road. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.2 runs on average over those games. As for Honeoye Falls-Lima,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-7.
 Coming up, Bloomfield will square off against Palmyra-Macedon at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Bombers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Red Raiders have averaged an impressive 9.1  runs per game this season. As for Honeoye Falls-Lima, they will challenge Eastridge at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
