Basketball Recap: Sehome Comes Up Short

Sehome lost against Squalicum last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Sehome Mariners lost 65-42 to the Squalicum Storm. The Mariners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sehome's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Squalicum, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Sehome does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Squalicum, they will venture away from home to face off against Burlington-Edison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Squalicum knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Burlington-Edison likes a good challenge.
