Soccer Recap: Paris Find Success

Paris proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by six) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sherman Bearcats, sneaking past 2-1.

Paris' win bumped their record up to 4-2-4. As for Sherman, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Paris will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pittsburg at 4:30 p.m. on the 27th. As for Sherman, they will be taking part in a tournament against Sulphur Springs at 2:45 p.m. on Friday. Sherman's defense better be ready for this one: Sulphur Springs have averaged an impressive 2.7 goals per game this season.
