Softball Recap: Hope Comes Up Short

After flying high against Classical on Saturday, Hope came back down to earth. The Blue Wave lost 13-5 to the Cranston East Thunderbolts on Tuesday.

Hope saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angeline Pardo, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Hope's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-8. As for Cranston East, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hope is set to square off against their familiar foe Davies Career & Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Cranston East will challenge rival Rogers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
